This car started as a perfect, no rust, 6 cylinder car. It is the cleanest, straightest 69 Camaro we've ever seen. Professional body shop took off the original, no rust body while it went through a full rotisserie restoration, no bondo, laser straight original body. Z28 hood purchased from Chevy dealer. Original suspension was removed, the complete front and rear end suspension was removed from Corvette and installed in this ' 69 Camaro. The 31K mile Corvette motor and trans were also removed and installed into the car. Firewall was recessed 4" and the tunnel was modified 4" to allow for the Corvette transmission. Aluminum drive shaft was cut and balanced, rear was tubbed 3" on both sides for the rear end to rest perfectly on the original body. Original dash was removed and the Corvette column with cruise and tilt was installed, dash panel was cut to retro fit the Corvette gauges.
